Honestly, I didn’t plan to admit to all of you, the incredible Disney community, that I wore what I did at the DVC Moonlight Magic 2020 event in Animal Kingdom this January. However, Koda and Kenai from Brother Bear had such fun with my unexpected ensemble that I decided I had to share. I’m embarrassed, but it’s okay…we’re all friends here, right? I hope you enjoy this super playful meet and greet, and we invite you to check out our recent post for a rundown of what to expect at Moonlight Magic events including an overview of the Animal Kingdom specific offerings as well as a review of the event highlights and tips and tricks to help you make the most out of upcoming events.
We’re sharing our interactions with Disney characters for your viewing pleasure of course, but we’re also hoping these videos serve as inspiration for you to make your own unique, magical memories. Frequently, children are more excited to meet characters than adults as they often feel more at ease in meet and greet situations. While our character videos are meant to be fun for the whole family, they’re specifically geared for adults to help increase comfort and foster creative ideas and personalized approaches to character interactions. Autograph books are great souvenir options for little ones especially, but our meet and greets feature everything from funny props to rather odd requests, the occasional sentimental souvenir and even a practical item or two to elicit amusing, original experiences. For adults who feel awkward or uncomfortable in a basic meet and greet environment or for anyone looking to plus up their character interactions, we highly recommend this customized approach, and we invite you to share your experiences with us!
This video is a compliment to our exclusive series, “Will You Sign My…?” featuring our most memorable interactions with Disney characters. Sadly, Kenai and Koda—along with the other characters at the DVC event—didn’t sign autographs, but we still had fun with them in our own way. Be certain to subscribe to our YouTube channel so you don’t miss our next post in the series and all of our dining reviews, planning overviews and tips and tricks videos!
